You're here. How we got here.

Let me start with the simple reality: between layoffs, ATS voids, ghost jobs, automated applicants, and everything else, the current job market is at best slightly crazy and just absolutely frustrating. I know, this all started out of my own search.

Navigating through it, I watched my application list grow and grow as responses trickled in. I've job hunted plenty in my career but nothing like this. I tried more networking, different resume versions, outreach approaches, but it's just a tough moment. And yet, talking to peers also looking, we were all asking each other the same thing: is it the market or is it us? What worked?

So I decided to build a different sort of job tool to help answer that for all of us.

What AppliedOn offers

At the core, AppliedOn is a lightweight job tracker. Think of it as an upgraded spreadsheet with tools to quickly save the jobs you apply to and add the details that matter for the interviews ahead.

Behind that, and the real power of this is community powered insights. Offers, notes, contacts, your private details all stay private while the general progress of everyone comes together anonymously to provide crowdsourced benchmarks: a glimpse into what is happening across thousands of searches from company response rates to industry comparisons.

Tracking and benchmarks won't get you a job but they'll help you know how you're doing, what companies are doing, what's happening out there. This is a project created to make searching a little easier for all of us so give it a shot, and share if it helps.
